Wotcha.

I use a MBP as my primary dev machine. I don't know about Parallels, as I
use VMware Fusion. I have to say - VMWare rules. I have windows 7, Ubuntu,
and Vista all running as multiple sessions at the same time. All run lovely.
You'll get better performance if you drop into windows from bootcamp
instead, but performance under vmware is fine for development. My virtual
Vista is running SQL 2008, CF8, IIS etc and powers through development apps.

Backup wise, I use Mozy.com - its ace. OS X comes with a screen grabber, but
there are loads you can add freeware if you need to.

Hope this helps,
Rich
