I came across this one last year and raised it with MM & this list. I've
attached the thread along with the conclusion that I drew at the time.

I got this response from the UK CFUG list:
"we found this bug a while back in CF4.5 sp2 after installing
win2000sp2"
Which prompted me to check it out. And lo and behold it happened. I can
now
confirm that the issue would appear to be an effect of installing W2K
SP2.
