well, we paid our money a long time ago, which is why i can head down the
boozer in an hour, happy in the knowledge it'll all stay up and be lovely...
will be in the elusive camel in victoria should anyone wanna head over that
way - though u will have to put up with the fact that its a mates birthday
and i'm already a smidgen sh!t-faced ;o)

surely depends on the budget, required stability etc...
if you demand uptime, then its oracle running on unix...
otherwise maybe sql server on the windows (but you'll never have that
stability but you have most of the features) or mysql if you don't need
things the advanced functionality
you pays your money and you takes your choice... ;o)

It looks like I have finally conviced the powers that be to move from
Access to SQL server.

Question is which "flavour" of SQL works best with :

Windows 2000 server
Coldfusion MX

So who's using what, where & when etc.....
