Hi, I have built my server with SQL 2000 and coldfusion MX. Neither of which I have used before .... I have copied an access database to the new server, ran the import wizard and all seemed hunk dory (just used the defaults). I then went to the CFMX administrator to connect to the database :( I have called the connection docsdata as it was originally called, used the sql server connector and then it asks the following questions ...
CF data source name : docsdata Database : Is this where the data actually is? (Path etc if so where is it? - I think it copied all the data to Master???) Server : Lisa (My other servers are called Homer, Marge & Bart) User Name : Whats this for? Password : As above Port 1433 : Just left this as default The connection reports an error. Probably because it doesn't know what database to connect to. I liked the other version where you could map to it .....
