what if you wrote them a demo in like 5 mins flat with CF, to demonstrate how quick and simple it is compared to PHP? Also the argument that Flash MX and CF MX are so closely tied together I think is a strong one (although if all functionality can be done in PHP this maybe doesn't stand up to scrutiny).

We are creating a flash driven site attached to a large Database and there will be quite a lot of calls to the Database through flash remoting. At our end we have been using CFMX with flash remoting, at the other companies end they have been using PHP to talk to flash and the server. Any points in favour of CF would be appreciated.
