Subject: [ cf-dev ] cfobject and createObject()

Riddle me this.... if you enable cfobject in the Resource Security
(CFMX) and disable createObject(), you would have thought that you would
then be able to use cfobject to instantiate a COM object on a page,
wouldn't you?

Well, I get "access denied (coldfusion.runtime.FunctionPermission
createobject)" when trying to use the Steema TChart COM obeject.

Does cfobject use createObject() under the hood? If so, why provide the
facility to disable both via the Administrator?
