Afaik you should be able to see those changes immediately you open design
view.
I`m wondering if there could be a DWMX bug related to its use of ram. I
observed
recently copying from html2text progamme into DWMX file and though it cut
the text when I tried this
it would not paste, instead pasting a previous clipboard copy that seemingly
was stuck in some clipboard buffer.
This could have been due at the time to the pc using up a lot of ram/free
memory and problem could have been cleared by
rebooting, I didnt check for this but I suspect a problem related to DWMX
copy/paste in general and DWMX using plenty of
ram especially since seeing reports also of DWMX not saving files...havu
tried DWMX update though the above is following that update.
I`ve only seen above a couple of times though..I'd try closing everything
and rebooting as you should be able to see cfincludes etc in design view

Subject: [ cf-dev ] OT: Design view in DWMX

I'm giving DWMX another shot and found that if you paste header and
footer cfmodule code into a template in Code View and flip into Design
View, you don't get to see the page preview as though you opened IE and
typed in the url, even if you've entered the HTTP Address for the site
in the Site Definition window.

Is this basically how DWMX works? Is Design View only of use if you're
working on completely stand-alone pages?

Thanks
