You're supposed to be able to and there are even instructions on how to do this, but can I get it to work???? Can I heck!
Basically you make a tunnel using your ssh client from a local port say 2021 to localhost:21, then when you login your ssh client your local PC port 2021 will be connected to your server port 21. This is easy enough to do and all that, but I can't get DWMX to recognise existing tunnels or to set up its own tunnel... :o(

I use SSH Secure Shell Client for windows for connections to remote Linux box, any way to configure DWMX to use this for secure FTP?

If you can get someone to set CVS up right on a Linux box in the first place I always just use WinCVS to connect to it via a Putty SSH tunnel .. works fine for me. CVS has saved me from disaster many times and is worth using :) (Just getting used to committing etc when you've done something .. we had it set up to roll-out a new version when files were committed so just a few extra clicks etc.)

Studio 5 was pretty good too and Homesite+ looks pretty much like a re-badged Studio.... :)
I'm making a concerted effort to use DWMX, if for nothing else other than the synchronisation and check in/out. Mind you I've been toying with using CVS and it annoys the hell out of me that even after all this time I can't get DWMX to connect via an SSH tunnel!

Many reasons....and not sound like an MM salesman ;-)...
better Stylesheet support, more of a code editor than previous versions more stable (although it has been noted to be slower etc.., I havent found that to be the case) generally all round polished off from MX 1.0

Interesting can I ask why?

Is there any reason to upgrade to this from DWMX6.1 ?
