It's nice to get a response, thanks Andi, but what we as developers want
to know is what are MM doing. Why should we stick with CF, if there
seems to be no job market for it in this country?

You asked what we want, what's missing, well knowing what MM have
planned would be nice and this would tell us why to stick with CF. It's
great to be told new things are on the way, but if your unemployed
sitting waiting for MM to release something new in the next year is not
going to help.

So what's I see as missing is:

* UK based developers being told what new things are coming out
for CF
* Seeing Macromedia target UK companies to use CF
* Bigger showcase events in the UK (because we can't all afford to
go to America, I know that CF Europe is coming, but that's not until
next year).
What do other's see as missing?

Subject: RE: [ cf-dev ] The state of ColdFusion in the UK

I'm sorry to hear that you aren't seeing the activity you'd like in the
UK. Over the past 12-24 months we've really been focusing our efforts
on bringing ColdFusion to new communities and customers. We have a
whole range of things planned going forward, but I'd love to hear from
this community what you think is missing and what else you'd like to
see.
