I took a look at bug 354, which was resolved INVALID because the "fade plugin"
was doing the animation, not the ADD Helper. However, it would seem (my best
guess) that now it's the obs plugin doing the fading. It seems impossible to
make the obs plugin any faster/slower. It would be nice if things could just
fade instantly (or at least much faster, optionally).
