Yes, perhaps that would have been better. But as I said, that's for
others to decide.

Let me just point out that there is one conceptual difference between
distros like Debian or Fedora and Yocto: the former are stand-alone
distros, whereas Yocto is more a toolset for building a distro. One can
customize both, but it is easier with Yocto.
