Thank you for starting the conversation on this! I would like to help with
some of those tasks and the website definitely needs some renovation, so I
am looking forward to that as well.

If we remove the word "incubating" from the version number, perhaps it
could be a good opportunity to also bump the major version number (to move
past "0").

As for JIRA vs Github issues, I feel like JIRAs can be more
clearly referenced and are more organized, but I would love to hear some
different perspectives.
