That looks exactly like I proposed it!
The only thing: For DocTerms the approach is not needed? You can check for
null, so the Bits interface is not needed. As the OpenBitSets are created with
the exact size and don't need to grow, you can use fastSet to speed up creation
by doing no bounds checks.
