I didnt delete any branch or control anyone's commits. I just did an svn copy.
As far as continuing the 4.x line, who will be responsible for the backwards
compatibility of those indexes? The current situation is not sustainable.
I don't see a lot of people jumping up and down to help out with 3.x index back
compat issues.
