If you got hit by a 404 not found on committing to branch_4x:

$ svn switch https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/lucene/dev/branches/branch_5x .
$ svn up
$ svn commit -m "..."
{noformat}
If the branch would not be removed, you would have committed to the old one
instead, so this was to help you.
Unfortunately, I was commiting the removal just for you.
