got to agree with Joel here.
Solr has a modular design where we pick and choose components (wt param here).
These are done to ensure that everything works with each other. In case of
Streaming it is not there. That introduces too many dependencies on each
component.
I strongly recommend everyone to take a look at the patch because it may not be
doing what you think it is doing
