So I've looked over things fairly closely now. I saw a variety of things I'm 
not very concerned about that I dropped into IRC.

The only thing I am concerned about is that Solr does not use VERSION_32 in the 
example and so does not use the new Tiered
flush policy. I do think that's worth a respin (and wish I was more up to speed 
on signing and whats up with my keys and stuff so I could help out without as 
much investment as it would currently take).
