The fix for smoker is to be done here in dev-tools/scripts/smoketestRelease.py:

The maven part should not fail as it just downloads everything from the maven
folder and then checks if POMS are available. But as it's not in the maven
folder of the release, it should not fail. I'd wait for that to fail or not
fail.
[~Tomoko Uchida]: can you just fix the above code and commit that, too. You
just need to add "luke".
