bq. I haven't been following this, but rddToSequenceFileRDDFunctions is not a
method you should be calling. The non-deprecated version is an implicit.
I was looking at using that method in hopes of keeping our code compatible with
1.1.x, 1.2.x for now. But since 1.3 breaks the shell It looks like we need to
target upgrading for a later release.
