What is the source of your fear?
(1) It may be a good first step to comment out the svn commit part of the
script for now - then you can see what the job will do with no risk of wiping
out the site. ;-)
(2) If you are scared of bringing down Jenkins, then I can't help you much.
Jenkins is quite capable of crashing on its own, seems to me. ;-)
