Perhaps, but Daniel has two good points. One is that it came up on this list and we can do somthing here and now about it. The second is that trying to get some official action on a task has shown in practice to be generally a way to kill it off through delay and overhead.
However, that said, I can say that there would be an advantage to CC:ing the art list. There may be some interested participants there with ideas or experience or even just clip art.
