SpreadFirefox.com links it's download page straight to mozilla.org. I
think this would be great for SpreadOpenOffice.org Link forums
straight to oooforum.org, link docs to ooodocs.org, etc. What I can
see this site doing is being an easy way to bring all these projects
together. That said, if openoffice.org gets a revamped homepage this
may be a mute point. I think that if the homepage of openoffice was
more inviting this would solve the issue.

I think Mozilla needed a spread firefox because they have so many
apps. OpenOffice only has one main program and a decent homepage
would do the work. I currently like what's going on with the new
homepage now. It does have a spreadfirefox look to it, but truthfully
I think that look is good and inviting.

Really if spreadopenoffice is going to be helpful it needs to do
something different than the new openoffice homepage will do in
conjunction with oooforum, and ooodocs. Maybe it can focus solely on
how to distribute openoffice and advertise it. Combine the putting it
in libraries, distributing cd's, how to convince your employer, etc.
Right now I think that is something that isn't so easy to get from the
marketing page.

Just some thoughts.
