1. NAMING CONVENTIONS FOR WIKI PAGES:

Both options look good. I'm happy to go with whatever you guys pick. I
prefer option 1.B. See below for an idea for dealing with the search
problem:
I am fine with either decision you all make. But let's reach one sooner
than later. ;)
2. DO A SEARCH ON THE WIKI BEFORE STARTING A NEW PAGE AND/OR ANNOUNCE
YOUR INTENTION ON THE LIST:
How about we create an Index page for Marketing?
http://.../Marketing--Index
The Marketing--INCUBATOR page was intended as a first page to start
writing things that are not already categorized. It was a possible
solution for those willing to start writing immediately.
Moving under another category later is possible.
However, it can remain a brainstorming place for proposing new actions
and ideas for Marketing, present them and discuss. For instance:
Steven's proposal for a short term plan I would've seen it better in
Incubator for a start and once addopted could be placed on the main page
or a designated category. I asked for that several times even in a
direct email to him but did not get a response and I do not know why. :-(
SO now we have to proposals:
1. Incubator: for start writing and linking anything newly added.
2. Daniel's idea for MArketing Index: Link anything you write from
there. and keep Incubator for proposing new things.
Let's see other responses from the lists.
Then, replace your (2) by:
2.a) Check the Index to see if your page is already there.
2.b) Put a link on the Marketing Index before writing any content.
Using an Index has some advantages:
a) It automatically makes the site more useful to visitors.
b) Looking at an Index is less error-prone than searching.
I proposed Incubator for that initially, untill the new page gets a life
of its own.
<snip>
I do hope that we can agree in a simple set of rules for this as
nobody will be able later to put order in the wiki. Please help here
and mention this to others and place a link to the instructions after
we refine them in the new pages you create as guide for contributing.
When we have rules finalized, they should go on the Index page too (in a
succinct form). I'm happy to do this, I'm good at making succinct pages.
They are now posted on the main page:

Thanks again,
Cristian
Cheers,
Daniel.
