Folks,

thank you for this discussion. In order to be effective, let's
deal with the issue at hand separately. Kami and I will talk
with the development team about what can be included or not
inside OOo.

Meanwhile, it may be interesting for the Marketing Project to
discuss if an extra "package" of non-free or non-LGPL
compliant content could be made available for download
directly from our site. Also, the name of such a bundle, were
it feasible on a legal point of view, should be thought of.
Could we please move forward into this way?

Thank you,

Perhaps it could be an idea to investigate the feasibility of putting a
function into, say, the "About" menu of future OOo versions that allows
single click downloads and installation of Clipart and/or templates from
a repository on OOo servers. Then if there are varying licenses, a
license "accept or decline" could be done then. It would also keep the
size of the main download down for Alex and the distribution guys and
those of us still on dialup. The material could also be distributed on
an "Extras" cd

Cheers

We can create both full inastaller and normall installer with template, clipart download facility - from Wizards or via modded templates/gallery panels.

Are we sure that Attribution No Derivatives (by-nd) like stuff non distributive with OOo(P)? (Choose by-nd licenseThis license allows for redistribution, commercial and non-commercial, as long as it is passed along unchanged and in whole, with credit.)
