Really? Wow! It is sad if so. Or you are talkng about direct Sun
competitors
(which is understandable)?



No.  I'm  talking about Free Software people who believe if it's anything
less than the latest GPL it's as bad as "M$".  Individual volunteers who
have - on OpenOffice.org mailing lists - publicly denounced the project
because of it's ties to Sun.  Now, it is possible that they were merely
shills for Sun competitors, or Microsoft, or just plain trolls - I don't
know.  But I have seen on other projects outright animosity towards
OpenOffice.org because of this relationship, and/or the Java thing, and/or
the LGPL.
