How do you get publicity by including a toolbar? It's all about money. The macromedia guys said that openly in response to the wide rage occurring when they introduced the Y/bar bundling. It was bad for their publicity; yes, also among folks which are not fundamentalist Free Software maniacs. Yes, you could use money for promotion, but it's money that you get in the first place, not publicity. In fact, bundling some crap you don't want is pretty bad for your image and every company doing it got marked with the "dodgy" stamp right away. > >Please don't feel offended - your goal is comprehensible. But in my (of > >course personal) opinion it's the wrong way. I second that. André.
