Do you have any idea how to solve this problem?
1) We need an easy to use macro recorde that catch all screen movement.
So other users can rerun it on their desktop on their language. So UI
recording might be multilangual in this way. I am not sure If we can do
it cross platform.

What you mean by macro recorder?
Yes, we need an application tha record every mouse movements, keyboard strokes...
Do you mean an OOo Macro recorder?
No :o(
I am not sure if the OOoAPI can achieve this but then again I am not an expert on the OOoAPI. If you are talking about macro recorder as some application outside of OOo my question would be how easy is for other users (in other platforms) to install and create their own localizations.
I am unsure if it can be platform independed. But the end user have to start ooo with his own language the run a macro - it will start the racording and record the performance then stop the recordning. I do not know how can we do it, but this is the way to create uniformised recodings for multiple languages.

2) The text during video tutorials should be localizable.

Can text be edited in a video? I know some videos use subtitle files so is just an ascii. Is that your idea of having the videos localized?
Yes I think we should go with subtitle files. They are easy to localizable text files. Editing subtitles on video is nearly impossible. ;o)

3) WInk seems to be impressive, I will play with it. Also the audio is
not required but it comes well in many situations. I think we might
handle the audio separetly. Can we remux it after all? So we might not
have to produce video and audio same time. First we have to work out
how to record video on every main platform, and how can be
reproducable for multi language UI recordings.

If we are on a windows platform the issue gets easier since Camtasia and other software are free as in beer and people can get the source files to localized on an easier fashion. At least the text, audio might also need more work since not every language spend the same amount of time to say the same thing.
Yes, you are understand what I would like :o) The speed of events should be not so fast. These videos are for beginners...

In my opinion I think this project might be too time consuming. And the goal too high. I will start with just having video tutorials put up in youtube and distribute them and THEN think about localization as a next wave of tutorials hopefully with more volunteers excited about the idea... baby steps my friend.
Yes, you are probably right :o)
