I am a bit surprised we havent comment enough on Scott McNeally open

With Obama's administration having a FLOSS mentality from the get go
there seems to have been a general acceptance on the FLOSS traction
however how these adoption goes might represent if this FLOSS adoption
is on the serverside or on the client side which is realy the
difference that can make OpenOffice.org key in the true impact of
things.
Actually, I don' think we should communicate. First of all, we don't
really know what he, and the US Federal gov for that matter, are going
to do about FLOSS and Open Standards. Second, speaking out first may
be counterproductive. MS is out there and they are very powerful in
D.C. as well as elsewhere. Now, I'm pretty sure this is going to be a
neat progress from the past administration in terms of innovating in
the field of IT and procurement, but again, I don't really know what
we should be saying about it.
best,
Charles.
