Greetings Jaswinder,
I build it from source. Please refer to the simple steps below:
1) Download the tarball source from http://xchat.org
2) Install all xchat
dependencies e.g gettext, expat, freetype, cairo etc.. (you may need to
search the deps on the net)
3) untar the source and cd into the
directoryapply this patch -> sed -i 's/GtkType/GType/'
src/fe-gtk/xtext.{c,h}
4) ./configure
5) make
6) sudo make install
Sorry, i cant recall exactly all the dependencies name above but roughly that
is it.
