Hello,

Is there a release plan for the 2.3 version of the Taglist Plugin? It has
been a while since the last release, and there is at least one issue that
other plugins are waiting on. I understand that everyone is busy and
working hard, but can someone apply the pending patches and perform the 2.3
release?

Because everyone is busy, I thought I would try to help by listing my
opinions on the 10 open issues for the Taglist plugin. I've broken down
the issues into four categories:
blocker - must be in 2.3 release
major - should be in 2.3 release
minor - if there is time put in 2.3 release
postpone - do NOT put in 2.3 release.

Obviously, if you decide not to put a major or minor in the 2.3 release, it
would be nice to apply the patch to the 2.4-SNAPSHOT trunk.

 # Patch available
 - Our friends with the dashboard plugin are waiting for this feature to
be released. I recommend choosing the modello patch because of the
rationale given in the jira issue and it has less checkstyle errors.
Will need to look deeper into this - if nobody else are more eager - I do not know modello yet.

- Major Issues -

 # Patch available
 - The specs states that No Comment will be displayed, and the change was
minor.
Fixed

MTAGLIST-35 One line javadoc comments do not display correctly
 # No patch
 - This is a cosmetic issue; however, it is annoying for those of us that
have these one line todos. As of late, I have been slacking, but I will get
a patch submitted. The fix looks simple.
Fixed

- Minor Issues -
MTAGLIST-33 Add surefire unit tests to the Taglist plugin
 # Patch available
 - This is minor, but it would be nice to have unit tests in place. If
this issue is added to 2.3 MTAGLIST-34 and MTAGLIST-35 should also be
added. Otherwise, there will be 2 failures. :)
Fixed - great!

 # No patch
 - If there was a patch I would have ranked this major. I have not looked
at this issue. I will try to create a patch; however, if the patch cannot
be created in time, I recommend going forward with 2.3 without this issue.
