Pablo commented on MTAGLIST-32: ------------------------------- I agree, bad links are bad. :) However, I can see one use case where the current main vs. test "guessing" technique generates bad links (not 404 ones, but still bad ones). If you have a main class and a test class with the _same fully qualified name_ and both contains TODOs, then all the links will be pointing to the xref folder and none will be pointing to the xref-test folder. Should I fill a new issue? > Code links are all to xref-test > ------------------------------- > > Key: MTAGLIST-32 > URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MTAGLIST-32 > Project: Maven 2.x Taglist Plugin > Issue Type: Bug > Affects Versions: 2.1, 2.2 > Environment: maven 2.0.9; example project built with jdk1.4.2_18 and > jdk1.5.0_16 on WinVista > Reporter: Stephen Pack > Assignee: David J. M. Karlsen > Fix For: 2.4 > > Attachments: MTAGLIST-32.patch, MTAGLIST-32_DOC.patch, > SimpleProject.ZIP > > Original Estimate: 0 minutes > Remaining Estimate: 0 minutes > > All of the xref links are to xref-test, including those that are in the > source files. > The 2.0 version currently works correctly for me. Perhaps one of the > underlying plugins changed in a way to cause this issue, as we've only > recently begun seeing it. I deleted my entire local repo before testing. > See the attached simple project, which includes the erroneous report in the > "target/site" folder. Click the line number, and you get a 404, unless you > delete the "-test" from the URL. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://jira.codehaus.org/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, please visit: http://xircles.codehaus.org/manage_email
