Sure, you're right but for example to generate a release notes and include it
.. this is not easy to do that with resource plugin or something else.
And to maintain manifest.mf file on resourcedirectory is another solution, but
limited because we have to be careful at line size and so ... maven-nbm already
make this stuff for us .
