The new patch {{ExtendedConfAndForked.diff}} contains the following:
* Original patch "rev62", that were more configuration options to Maven 2
Macker Plugin. Mainly copied from the PMD plugin.
* Unit tests for old and new functionality.
* Downgrade libraries, so the plugin runs for JDK 1.4 as said by the
documentation.
* Skip the execution of the plugin for projects which are not Java (so skips
POM projects).
* Fix 'classesDirectory' is @readonly problem.
* Add missing examples page to site (copied from the current site, but it was
not in SVN).
* Fix all license headers to current Checkstyle format.
* Fix all PMD and almost all Checkstyle errors seen in site report.
* Refactor plugin to allow different implementations of calling Macker.
* Add a forking implementation and delete the linked one. Mainly copied from
the Cobertura plugin.
* Add integration tests. Setup mainly copied from Eclipse plugin.
* Update and fix documentation.
IMHO this patch should add the wanted functionality, fix the discussed bugs and
allow the plugin to be released under ASF license, as macker is only called
forked.
