The patch includes settable switches for scopes, artifact types and classifiers that should be included. A test case for a multi-module web app is also provided, ensuring that the war file is in fact included in the assembly. The test case is also a demo on how a standards-compliant war web app can be bundled and delivered as an unzip-to-install standalone application using jetty, appassembler and the assembly plugin. To my knowledge, the latest version to support bundling war files along with transitive dependencies is 1.0-alpha-2.
