Well,

we were talking about this in past, and in the past (14 month ago or
so), we agreed to keep
MyFaces 1.1.x to be the trunk. Now, we have a (first) release of
MyFaces 1.2.x out there, so it
*might* make more sense now, than in the past. However, we recently
asked, but we never heard much back for others (7 "votes"). Therefore
an "official" vote was needed.

Glad you jumped in.

It's not that we need to "push" this, now. I am personally fine in
switching to 1.2.x (on trunk) later.
Looks like we need to discuss this, in more details.

Perhaps it's good to wait, and try to get a *first* step into a
version of Tomahawk/Tobago that are JSF-1.2-style.

Got a question here: making the JSF 1.2 core
trunk seems like a no-brainer. But what about Tomahawk
and Trinidad? Will those switch over to be JSF 1.2-based
on their trunks, or should we keep JSF 1.1 as the basis
for their trunks?

The coder in me wants to bump to JSF 1.2, but it's
hard to imagine that the community in general is ready.
WDYT?
