Darkelve! Good to see you here. Welcome aboard!
Let me try to get you a little acquainted, while we give a chance for Sophie and Simon to notice this email :-) * Sophie is the French lead. The French project page is: http://fr.openoffice.org * Simon is the Dutch lead. The Dutch project page is: http://nl.openoffice.org They are both really cool people. Very friendly. As for myself, I am also 26 years old. I am a citizen of Venezuela and Canada, but right now I'm in the USA, studying mathematics. I work with the OOoAuthors project, which writes English documentation: http://oooauthors.org Given your skills, I want to allow Sophie and Simon a first chance to get you started. If they can't find something for you (ha ha ha) you can bet that you'll hear from me :-) At OOoAuthors we always need more writers. We're a fun group, and a very positive atmosphere. In any event, why don't you explore the French and Dutch sites? Start thinking about what you'd like to try first. My advice, start with a simple, short-term task (e.g. translate a tutorial). Short-term projects are a good way to get you oriented. Then you'll have a better idea of where you'd like to help out. We want to help you find something you will enjoy. Fun is very important. :-) > So nice to meet you all and I hope I can find an interesting part of > the project to contribute to. As a final note, it was the enthousiastic > personality of Daniel Carrera which made me decide I wanted to try and > help out with this extremely interesting project. Whoo hoo!! /daniel does his happy dance Cheers, -- Daniel Carrera | I don't want it perfect, Join OOoAuthors today! | I want it Tuesday. http://oooauthors.org | --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
