Have the linguistic errors in the French version of OOo been fixed _yet_?
If you want to attribute that to either string freeze, or feature
freeze, or UI freeze, then you are talking about OOo 1.0 or earlier.
I've also seen the same thing in other localizations of OOo.

That's funny.
I've been told that the only way to have a hope of getting certain
features in OOo, would be to submit a working patch. [Generally
features that are needed for minority or extinct languages.]
