Hi,
my name is Luisa and I work in an Italian IT company
(<http://www.tecnoteca.com/>Tecnoteca srl) that devolops web
applications using software open source.
In collaboration with the
<http://www.comune.tavagnacco.ud.it/>Municipality of Tavagnacco we
would like to start a project for the localization of OOo in Friulian language.
Friulian is a Neolatin language spoken by about 700,000 people mainly
in Friuli, a region in North-East Italy; Friulian speakers can also
be found among others in Canada, Australia, Argentina and France,
which were destinations of Friulian emigrants.
The Friulian language has a large number of vocabularies and grammar
texts and is studied at the Universities of Udine, Prague, Moscow and Lubjiana.

Many people will join this project in our region with contributes in

It is very important that we have the support of Municipality of
Tavagnacco for the project . The Municipality will put on hand
language resources, in order to spread the friulian language and the
software open source in our region among people and local institutions.
We will work with l10n prject too.
