hi Charles

It has been a while since we looked after Openoffice. This time we
shall get as many things done as possible and setting up the web page
too te.openoffice.org. We even though of activating the mailing lists
for telugu language. I need some help regarding the same. It was vijay
who used to help me out in these issues but I think he is busy with
his work and I feel its better to learn on doing things than getting
it done.

How could i use CVS in te.openoffice.org? and is it better to work
with CVS or getting the translations done manually?

What is Documents & files section?

which milestone should we select for translation?

How could i estimate that for example i need to check on how much %
of translations are done and how much is left over. were can i find
these kinds of data?
like the way it is in gnome they have a page for te were in one could
easily see on how much % of the project is done and also details of
each file is shown in there.

Telugu is not listed in languages page. how to include telugu in the page?

Well i would be very happy if i can get docs on the above mentioned
questions and also text other than that which would be useful to work
out in keeping telugu language more updated that it is in its current
situation.

thnaks for the help

bye
bhuvan

Hello Bhuvan,

sorry, the NLC is sometimes too large... :-) Nice to talk to you, again.
yes, the deadline for the 2.3 is on July the 26th.

By the way, what's going on for OOo in the Telugu-speaking part of India?

Let us know if you need any help. Also, feel free to browse the OOo
wiki: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Main

Best,
Charles.
