Okay. Activating mailing list is easy, just send a first message on it.

CVS is used both for the OpenOffice.org as a web site and as a product.
For the web site, see here: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/NLC
(in short, you need a ssh2 key) . Using CVS for the code does not
immediately concern you since you will be working primarily with
localization. And this has its own set of processes. I can point you to
http://l10n.openoffice.org and http://qa.openoffice.org but there are
links on the NLC wiki page above that will explain you everything. In
any case, make sure to contact Rafaella Braconi, L10N project lead, for
the localization work.

A section where you can post... documents and files (but code is not
recommended).

2.3 if you can get it done in one month. (deadline is 26th of July)

Well, you can use Pootle tools for that. Please contact Rafaella on this
question.

we have it as well. It's called QATrack:
http://qatrack.services.openoffice.org/view.php and

I hope the docs I pointed you to will be useful, at least as a start.

Feel free to let us know if you need anything else.

best,
Charles.
