I think we can agree on the fact, that all what happend till now was
done in good faith. That goes for the updates from Martin and also the
vote thread from Jaroslav. So my aim (and also the aim of my last
message) is and was not to put blame, but to understand and see what is
possible.

The big question is what to do now. Geertjan asked IMHO the right
question: Could we even rollback the release now or it is a fait
accompli? If we can roll back, I think it might be worth it - is there
a save VSNetbeBeans version, that could be put into production in the
market place as a drop-in replacement and the current, and broken
version be pulled?

If that is possible, we can do a proper release and be done with it, we
are back in to normal. If that is not possible, the discussion becomes
meaningless, we can only check if the artifact is sane and does not
violate ASF requirements.

- do the work that should go into the next release
- stabelize that version and make it a voting candidate
- get the sources checked and voted
- after voting happend, the release is done

Greetings

Matthias
