The last time I looked into it, there seemed to be some workarounds in NetBeans for ancient Swing clipboard issues that probably don't apply anymore. I think NB is doing something weird with the clipboard.
I'm primarily developing on Linux now, so I'm spared from this issue. But when I worked on Windows it happened all the time. It was a weekly annoyance.
