Hi Matthias, That's strange, since your in the jira-users group, and when we looked at the permissions for assigning tickets, we made sure that the jira-users group was given the role of Contributor, and it seems the JIRA permission for resolving/closing tickets includes contributors.
That's about the extent of my knowledge. If I have time tomorrow I might take another look unless someone gets there before me...
