Robert Kanter commented on OOZIE-1875:
--------------------------------------
Building on Shwetha's comment, what if instead of adding a new execution mode,
we add some kind of option that toggles if the timeout sets actions to TIMEDOUT
or to SKIPPED (e.g. in the <control> section). Alternatively, some kind of
option that toggles counting TIMEDOUT as "good" instead of the current "bad" so
that a coordinator with that option set will become SUCCEEDED even with
TIMEDOUT actions. In either case, the user would simply set the timeout to 1
minute (or whatever they want) and it has the same behavior but I think it's a
a simpler way of doing this. Thoughts?
