I think it's time we got this in. That will allow the followup work to move
easier and faster and others can contribute.

[~gezapeti] or [~pbacsko], if nobody says anything, please commit this sometime
on May 26 (this Friday).
In the meantime, please look into the findbugs and javac warnings that
test-patch found.
