If this decision could be done in a few months, when a stable OpenEJB implements the EJB 3.1, maybe the decision would've been another one...

A note here is that Jean-Louis has JPA 2 support working.  Really the
only thing missing is the @Asynchronous support.  Wouldn't be that
hard to get in if you were willing to wait two weeks.  The pieces are
there, they just need to be connected together.
