Hmm. I don't think Jason, Brett, or John really want commit

commit for m1-to-m2 conversion then yanking it again. They can
earn commit if they really want to code.
Jacek, what do you think?
Well, I'm a little confused. Why do they need the commit access at
all? Is the conversion such a task that only people with commit
could do that? I don't likely understand it completely. Besides,
it's a bit surprising to read emails about handing over the task
with commit. I don't recall discussing it, either.
I've begged Jason to do it every time I see him for like a year now.
He did a little, got busy and handed it off to Brett. Brett's now
busy and handing off to John. These guys are pretty busy with the
Maven community and obviously having a hard time finding time to help
us out as is, don't see any reason not to extend some trust in
exchange for their good will.
Let me put it straight, I'm very happy to see people who could help
us with the task, but I don't think anyone who would possibly step
up and tell us (s)he could do it, would earn commit right away.
They're not looking to be real contributors. This is just the Maven
community lending a helping hand to the OpenEJB community's
conversion to m2. We're getting special treatment cause we're such
nice guys and they like us.
