This sub-task is used to implement the initial support of new optimistic locks
types: Optimistic and Optimistic_Force_Increment, per JPA 2 spec.
The new pessimistic lock types will be addressed in (part 2 ) future iteration.
This requires the spec settles on the names being used, the final semantics of
the these lock types and the availability of the javax.persistence.* API from
Geronimo project.
