Donald,
Per our separated conversation, current OpenJPA implementation uses statement
level setQueryTimeout for lock timeout and query timeout, which is stored in
the fetch configuration. "OPENJPA-958,959: timeout on query" is addressing the
separation of both property hint definitions. A new JIRA can be used to
document your suggested functions.
