@solomax from my point of view:

   1. the style should be more friendly: a) theme, css (can be inspired from
karaf but also the old theme potentially) b) the navigation should be a doc one
so a global one and a local one + breadcrumbs + page linking. Also the
header/footer/fonts need to be revisited. Also logos/icons looks too toy kind,
misses alignments and layout respect. Note that it also applies to mobile view
which has weird spacing/margins (on the right mainly).
   2. seems the manual lost their style (not sure it is this very PR but this
is bothering too)
   3. code should be highlighted (important for a lib ;))
   4. search is misplaced I think
   5. Note sure about the restructuration but it is almost impossible to find
the doc now so the site is only an apache legal entry point and doc moved
totally to manual, not sure we want that, we still want some doc pages
referenced on the website I think

This is why I think reverting short terms and playing around more is worth
it cause it is not a 2 days fix IMHO but a real respawn of what we want on the
website which can need some list discussion.
